Authorities have identified a victim in a deadly shooting on Sunday. It happened in the 2700 block of Palmer Park, west of North Circle Drive. Colorado Springs Police say one person was injured, and a second person–identified as 23-year-old Braden Peltier of Bay City, Michigan–was killed in the shooting. According to investigators, Peltier was stationed at Fort Carson. This is the 4th homicide in Colorado Springs this year. This time last year, there were seventeen.
