In KVOR’s Wildfire Watch, Teller and Park County officials say that all mandatory evacuations for the 403 Fire have been lifted — although, pre–evacuations are still in place. The fire has burned more than 1,400 acres so far, standing at roughly 25% containment today. The 403 Fire has been burning since Thursday morning, and strong winds – in addition to dry conditions – have pushed the fire along. No injuries or structures have been damaged by the fire. Firefighters are focusing on eliminating potential fuel for the fire. Multiple shelters have been opened for the 403 Fire – including one at the Woodland Park Community Church, and the Florissant Grange.
