RIFLE, COLORADO-A manhunt is underway for a man who escaped the Rifle Correction Facility Monday. Fifty-four-year-old Jewel Gist was convicted of aggravated robbery in 2016. Authorities say he escaped around 9 a.m. Rifle is located along I-70 between Grand Junction and Glenwood Springs. The Colorado Department of Corrections says if you see Gist, do not approach him and call 911. He’s described as white, 5’5, and 170 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.
