On Monday, Leticia Stauch was found guilty of all counts in the death of her 11-year-old stepson Gannon and sentenced to life sentences without the possibility of parole. Before the judge handed down the sentence, several friends and family members spoke, including Gannon’s father Al. He talked about how Letecia’s actions have reached beyond what he could predict. He discussed the impact the crime has had on Letecia’s daughter Harley and Gannon’s younger sister Laina. Al Stauch said he felt he lost two children in the tragedy, referring to Harley, stating he did not know if that relationship was “salvageable.”Before the sentencing, the judge condemned Letecia’s use of the not guilty by reason of insanity plea and said the facts, in this case, were the most horrific that he had ever seen.
