AN UPDATE NOW TO A STORY WE BROUGHT YOU EARLIER THIS WEEK ON KVOR. A MAN, WHO WAS SHOT BY FOUNTAIN POLICE DURING A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE HAS DIED. 51 YEAR OLD JAMES BOYLE WAS TALKING TO OFFICERS SATURDAY AT A HOME NEAR I-25 AND SANTE FE. HE SUDDENLY BEGAN ATTACKING POLICE ALONG WITH HIS DOG. THE ANIMAL WAS SHOT AND KILLED. POLICE ALSO SHOT BOYLE WHO WAS RUSHED AN AREA HOSPITAL. HE DIED TUESDAY. THE TWO OFFICERS INVOLVED ARE ON PAID ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE. THE COLORADO SPRINGS POLICE DEPARTMENT IS CONDUCTING THE INVESTIGATION.
