COLORADO SPRINGS-Authorities believe a suspect involved in a home invasion last night may have been shot. It happened just before midnight on Cumberland Street, that’s near North Union and Austin Bluffs. According to police, three masked men entered the home through an unlocked door while the resident was letting their dogs out. Eventually, two of the suspects when back to their car, but one stayed inside the home and was armed. Meanwhile, the resident confronted that suspect and allegedly fired a shot that police believe hit the suspect. Police alerted local hospitals about the shooting, however, the suspects are still unidentified.
