The Colorado Bureau of Investigation says they’ve made an arrest in a 14-year-old cold case. Forty-nine-year-old Larry Fuller was walking home from a bar in Ignacio on New Year’s Day 2009 when he was shot and killed. Investigators believe his death was likely the result of an altercation at the bar that night. On Thursday, 28-year-old David Hendren was arrested in the Navajo Nation in Arizona. He’s facing first-degree murder charges in connection to Fuller’s death. He made his first court appearance Friday and is currently awaiting extradition to Durango. CBI says Hendren’s arrest so many years later was due to a joint effort with the Navajo Nation Police Department and several other agencies.
