A 19-year-old Colorado Springs man will spend the next 33 years behind bars after pleading guilty to several robbery charges. Abel Cordova-Barre was arrested in January 2022 for his role in several armed robberies at nearly a dozen hotels and convenience stores in Colorado Springs, Fountain, and Monument. Cordova-Barre was charged with 1 count of kidnapping, 10 counts of aggravated robbery, and 1 count of attempted aggravated robbery.
