A GoFundMe page is set up for Qualin Campbel, he’s the victim killed last week in a suspected hostage situation in Colorado Springs. According to the page, the money will go toward helping the family pull together to face the tragedy and deal with the emotional, physical, and financial effects of unexpectedly losing their husband and father. It all happened last Friday afternoon south of downtown. Authorities received reports of two unconscious men in a parking lot. A law firm representing the victim’s family has announced a lawsuit against the Colorado Springs Police Department. Attorneys say Qualin’s wife, Talija, called 911 to report her husband was in danger after receiving a text from him. CSPD reportedly didn’t respond until an hour later after someone else reported a possible shooting.
