Authorities say a teenager is facing charges for the death of a woman. Colorado Springs police responded to a crash in the 800 block of North Academy near the Citadel Mall last Saturday. They found 35-year-old Jeanette Wince unconscious inside her vehicle. Investigators learned there was a minor traffic crash between Wince and 19-year-old Elijah Adolpho. They believe Adolpho fired several shots into the victim’s vehicle, striking her. She was transported to the hospital, where she died. Authorities are investigating her death as a homicide.
