Pueblo Police continue to search for a man they say failed to register as a sex offender

Authorities in Pueblo are searching for a man they say failed to register as a sexually violent predator. Deputies say Wesley Lucas was released from jail at the end of April and did not register at that time. They say he’s experiencing homelessness. Court records indicate Lucas pleaded guilty to sexual assault in 2008 and attempted sexual assault on a child for a lesser charge in 2006. Authorities say Lucas has brown hair with a receding hairline and brown eyes. He’s 5’7 and 120 pounds.
