A woman is recovering from injuries she suffered while ziplining in Manitou Springs on Wednesday. The city says the accident happened during take-off. First responders stabilized the woman and then used the zipline to get her down. Our partners at KKTV 11 News spoke with the ziplining company—Adventures Out West. They say all safety precautions were being followed, but the guest didn’t execute a launch properly. The company added they feel terrible anytime someone gets hurt, however, it is an adventure park, and it does not come without risk.
