A man accused in a shooting spree two weeks ago in a southwest Colorado Springs neighborhood made his first court appearance Tuesday. Twenty-year-old Joel Martin is accused of shooting guns in the air and toward witnesses. Meanwhile, the judge set a preliminary hearing for September 27th. According to arrest papers, Martin’s father told police his son was suffering from a mental health episode at the time. Martin is facing multiple charges including attempted murder.
