The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a theft case at Smart Space Storage on Tamlin Road in unincorporated El Paso County. On the morning of August 26th, the suspect vehicle was seen waiting in the parking lot near the front office. When another vehicle entered their code to open the gate to the storage facility, the suspect vehicle followed them in. Authorities say they drove around for several minutes and then again waited for another vehicle to enter their code to exit the facility. The suspect vehicle—with a stolen trailer attached followed the other vehicle out of the property.
