The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of burglaries last month. Deputies say the crimes happened on September 25th near Marksheffel in unincorporated El Paso County. At least five residents in the area say the suspects stole garage door openers from their vehicles, and then either entered the garage or the residence. Items stolen include a purse and a black 2017 Volkswagen Passat. The two suspects are described as white or Hispanic males in their twenties.
