Driver Charged For Allegedly Hitting and Killing Pedestrian with Car in King Soopers Parking Lot

THE DRIVER WHO HIT AND KILLED A PEDESTRIAN IN A NORTHERN COLORADO SPRINGS KING SOOPERS PARKING LOT BACK IN AUGUST HAS BEEN CHARGED.  EMERGENCY CREWS WERE CALLED TO THE KINGS SOOPERS IN THE WOODMEN VALLEY SHOPPING CENTER AT 8 AM ON AUGUST 31 ABOUT A REPORTED CRASH. OFFICERS FOUND A WHITE SEDAN WITH 51-YEAR-OLD MARCUS BOGART PINNED UNDERNEATH, HE WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE. THE DRIVER, 76-YEAR-OLD RICHARD GOODWIN WAS CHARGED WITH CARELESS DRIVING RESULTING IN DEATH.
