A suspect is in custody after firing shots inside the Colorado Supreme Court building early Tuesday morning. According to state patrol, the suspect pointed a gun at a driver after the two were involved in a car crash. The suspect then allegedly forced his way into the Supreme Court building, shot out a window, and held a security guard at gunpoint. The suspect then went to the 7th floor and fired several shots before calling the police and surrendering. Investigators say the incident caused significant damage to the building. Fortunately, no injuries are reported.
