Suspect Arrested in Connection to Shooting at UCCS Campus

A SUSPECT HAS BEEN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION TO THE SHOOTING DEATHS OF TWO PEOPLE AT UCCS LAST FRIDAY. POLICE IDENTIFIED 25-YEAR-OLD NICHOLAS JORDAN AS THE SUSPECT. A WARRANT WAS OBTAINED FOR HIS ARREST FRIDAY EVENING AND HE WAS FOUND ON THE NORTH WEST SIDE OF COLORADO SPRINGS MONDAY MORNING. OFFICERS SAY JORDAN WAS FOUND IN A CAR IN THE 4900 BLOCK OF CLIFF POINT CIRCLE EAST AND WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY WITHOUT INCIDENT. JORDAN IS FACING TWO COUNTS OF FIRST-DEGREE MURDER AND IS BEING HELD ON A ONE MILLION DOLLAR BOND. OFFICIALS HAVE NOT YET RELEASED A MOTIVE FOR THE SHOOTING.
