The latest now on the King Soopers strike in Colorado. It’s being reported the contract covering King Soopers workers in Colorado Springs expired this weekend. At the moment it does not appear those workers have gone out on strike. Workers in the greater Denver area have been on the picket lines. At the moment there are no new talks scheduled between the union and Kroger, King Soopers parent company. According to reports Kroger is bringing workers in from outside Colorado to staff stores. They have also reduced store hours at many locations.
