Colorado Springs Police continue to investigate a 10-year-old cold case. On May 2nd, 2013, the body of 20-year-old UCCS student Angelina Sicola was found in her apartment near Austin Bluffs and North Academy. Authorities say Sicola was likely killed inside her apartment and died as a result of forcible strangulation. Over the past decade, detectives have interviewed numerous people, including friends, family, and fellow students. In addition, police say they’ve recovered a large amount of evidence from the scene and forensic examination of physical and electronic evidence continues.
