Wednesday marked 3 years since the disappearance of Chaffee County mother Suzanne Morphew, and it’s now considered a cold case. According to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, state statute defines a cold case as any case that remains unsolved 3 years to the date after it happened. Suzanne reportedly went missing while on a bike ride in the Salida area on May 10th, 2020. Her husband, Barry Morphew, was facing charges in connection to her disappearance. However, the charges were dismissed without prejudice in April of last year.
