An investigation is underway after a father of 5 was shot and killed in a small Colorado town. It happened in Holly, Colorado, that’s in Prowers County. Authorities have identified the victim as Anthony Contreras. Officers responded to a harassment call on Thursday evening. In a news release, the Prowers County Sheriff’s office says deputies arrived at the scene and made contact with the parties involved, and at that time, no one wanted to press charges. The call was then cleared. About an hour and a half later, authorities were told one of the parties was back at the location, and within a couple of minutes, another call came in stating there were shots fired. Twenty-six-year-old Jesse Lunsford and 24-year-old James Lunsford are charged in connection to Contreras’ murder. The investigation is ongoing.
