A trial date has been set for a man accused of killing his teenage coworker over a year ago. Joshua Johnson was found competent to stand trial on Friday. His trial is set to begin on September 7th. According to investigators, Johnson killed 17-year-old Riley Whitelaw at the Walgreens off Centennial and Vindicator. Her body was found in the breakroom on June 11th, 2022. Officials say Whitelaw had told store managers that she felt uncomfortable because Johnson was making advances toward her. Johnson’s bond is set for 10 million cash only.
