The 17th Judicial District Attorney’s office is investigating an auto-pedestrian crash involving a Westminster police officer. on Tuesday night, the officer was driving southbound on Sheridan near 107th when a man stepped into traffic and was allegedly struck by the officer’s vehicle. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The officer is on paid administrative leave while the D.A. investigates. The identity of the man killed is not released.
