The U.S. Marshals and the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office recently completed “Operation Colorado Cleanup,” an effort to track down wanted sex offenders. The 3-month effort resulted in 38 fugitives being arrested or having their warrants cleared. U.S. Marshal Kirk Taylor says they plan to continue working with jurisdictions across the state on cleaning up the rolls of outstanding sex offender warrant to benefit the safety and security of local communities.
