Investigators say statements given following a stabbing do not match the evidence

Officials with the Colorado Springs Police Department say statements given following a stabbing do not match up with the information they’ve collected. Officers were called to the 6 thousand block of gunshot pass drive near North Carefree Circle and North Powers Sunday evening, where they found the victim suffering from stab wounds. Detectives say the statements provided by the victim and the reporting party do not match the evidence investigators found at the scene. According to CSPD, detectives from the domestic violence\adult sexual assault unit have taken over the investigation.
