A suspect wanted in connection to several robberies on the southeast side of the city is under arrest. Colorado Springs police say 22-year-old Benjamin Moore was involved in a robbery spree that took place from July 19th to August 17th. According to investigators, Moore entered restaurants armed with a semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash. In one incident, Moore allegedly fired a shot at a witness who attempted to intervene. Fortunately, no one was injured. Some of the restaurants targeted by more include a Subway and Wendy’s on South Academy and Papa Johns on Astrozon Boulevard.
