Closing arguments in Mcclain trial set for Tuesday

CLOSING ARGUMENTS ARE SET TO BEGIN TUESDAY IN ADAMS COUNTY IN THE ELIJAH MCCLAIN CASE. HE IS THE AURORA MAN WHO DIED IN 2019 AFTER BEING SUBDUED BY AURORA POLICE AND GIVEN A SHOT OF KETAMINE BY FIRST RESPONDERS. THE DEFENSE RESTED ITS CASE FRIDAY WITHOUT CALLING ANY WITNESSES. OFFICERS JASON ROSENBALTT AND RANDY ROEDEMA PLED NOT GUILTY TO NUMEROUS CHARGES INCLUDING CRIMINALLY NEGLIGENT HOMICIDE AND RECKESS MANSLAUGHTER. THERE IS NO COURT MONDAY BECAUSE OF COLUMBUS DAY. ANOTHER OFFICER ACCUSED IN THE CASE, NATHAN WOODYARD, GOES ON TRIAL LATER THIS WEEK.
