The cost of fuel is decreasing here in Colorado Springs. Experts say as of Monday, gas prices were at 3 dollars and 53 cents per gallon, which is 14.3 cents cheaper than a week ago and 38.5 cents cheaper than a month ago. Patrick De Haan, the head of petroleum analysis at Gas Buddy says he believes additional declines are likely, but he remains cautious that issues like the conflict in the Middle East could affect the cost of gas.
