A Denver firefighter is facing multiple charges after a domestic incident in Colorado Springs. Officials with the Denver Fire Department say Derek Smith was arrested on October 17th and is facing multiple charges, including felony first-degree criminal trespass of a dwelling. Smith is currently on leave without pay pending the court disposition. An internal investigation will follow.
