New details on a deadly crash south of Colorado Springs

Investigators believe speed may have played a role in a deadly two-car crash Sunday afternoon south of Colorado Springs. Authorities say a car driven by a 42-year-old woman from Calhan was heading south on powers and attempting to turn left on Fontaine when her vehicle was struck by a car heading north on powers. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Meanwhile, two males in their early twenties were transported to a hospital. No arrests have been made.
