Authorities say a suspect wanted after allegedly pointing a gun at Doherty High School students on Tuesday has been arrested. The students were reportedly having lunch off campus when the incident took place. Police say the kids reported the incident to school resource officers and the campus was placed on secured status. Wednesday morning authorities received unconfirmed reports the man was seen inside the school and the campus was again placed on secured status. Police eventually confirmed the suspect was not in the building and the secured status was lifted. Investigators say the man—who is not yet identified— was arrested at his home.
