Authorities say they’ve made arrests after nearly 200 bodies were discovered improperly stored at a Fremont County funeral home. According to the 4th Judicial District attorney’s office, Jon and Carrie Hallford of Wagoner, Oklahoma are under arrest on suspicion of committing crimes of abuse of a corpse, theft, money, laundering, and forgery. The investigation into the return to nature funeral home began in early October after reports of a foul odor. Officials say because the Hallfords live in a different state, their advisement hearing will be determined during the extradition process.
