An investigation is underway after a deadly auto-pedestrian crash Thursday evening in Pueblo West. Around 8:15 deputies were called to Joe Martinez and Purcell boulevards on reports of a crash. Following an investigation detectives determined a Jeep Wrangler was heading southbound on Purcell when it struck a pedestrian in in a crosswalk. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet determined who was at fault in the crash. Drugs, alcohol, and speed are not considered factors.
