The Custer County Sheriff’s Office says a suspect accused of shooting and killing 3 people and injuring a 4th is now in custody. Forty-five-year-old Hanme Clark was arrested Tuesday afternoon by New Mexico state police. Monday evening authorities were called to a remote area eight miles northeast of Westcliff on reports of a shooting where they found Rob Geers, Beth Wade Geers, and James Daulton dead from gunshot wounds. A 4th person, Patty Daulton, was found seriously injured. She’s currently hospitalized in Colorado Springs. Authorities say the shooting was over a property dispute, and that Clark and one of the victims were previously involved in a similar dispute.
