New details on the Return to Nature Funeral Home. The property is still owned by Jon and Carie Halford. Fremont County Commissioner Kevin Grantham says the building must be destroyed because of toxicity and if the Halfords default on the current lone, the holder on the note could foreclose through their county treasurer’s office. Grantham says the county currently has no plans for the land because it is still owned by the Halfords, but that could change. Jon and Carie are just beginning their legal case. Both are facing hundreds of charges each for abuse of a corpse, fraud, and money laundering.
