Deputies say a man is dead after two trucks collided head-on Saturday on the southwest side of Pueblo West. Despite life-saving measures, the 64-year-old driver of a Silverado succumbed to his injuries. meanwhile, the 35-year-old driver of a ford250 was seriously injured and his passenger was airlifted to a Colorado Springs hospital with life-threatening injuries. Investigators believe the driver of the Ford crossed a double-yellow line while attempting to pass another vehicle and crashed into the Silverado. No identities are released at this time.
