A man found guilty of killing a New Mexico woman near a Boulder hiking trail

A man accused of killing a New Mexico woman at a popular hiking trail in Boulder has been found guilty. Thirty-two-year-old Jamie Moore was accused of killing 25-year-old Alexis Baca and dumping her body near a trail off Flagstaff Road on July 24th, 2022. According to investigators, Baca suffered a gunshot wound above the left ear and had several cigarette burns on her body. In addition, detectives say a bag of meth was found in her pocket. Moore was found guilty of 5 of  6 charges he was facing. They include first-degree murder, second-degree murder, and tampering with a deceased body.
