Colorado Flags flown at half-staff Tuesday in honor of Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor

Governor Jared Polis ordered flags across the state to be flown at half-staff Tuesday in honor of the late Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor who died on December 1st at the age of 93. O’Connor was the first woman appointed to the Supreme Court serving from 1981 to 2006 when she retired. On Tuesday, a funeral service remembering O’Connor was held at the Washington National Cathedral in D.C.
