We’re learning new details after a suspect was arrested Wednesday morning on the city’s southeast side. According to Colorado Springs Police, officers were called to an apartment complex on Delta Drive west of South Academy on reports of a domestic disturbance. Initial reports indicate the suspect was on parole, was armed with a handgun, and kept the victim barricaded inside the apartment. When CSPD arrived, the suspect fled. Additional resources were called in and the suspect was found behind a building. Details including the suspect’s and victim’s identities aren’t known at this time.
