It’s been 27 years since the death of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey and her killer remains at large. According to reports, On December 26th, 1996 the Ramseys found a ransom note in their home and later the same day found JonBenet’s body in the basement. According to autopsy reports, the child was strangled to death. Last year, Boulder Police released a statement saying they’ve investigated more than 21 thousand tips, letters, and emails and have traveled to 19 states to interview more than 1 thousand people. They say they continue to work with several agencies including the FBI, CBI, and the District Attorney’s Office. However, officials say the amount of DNA evidence available for analysis is extremely small and complex.
