Two city employees were injured in a crash with a DUI suspect

Colorado Springs Police say two city employees were injured late Wednesday morning in a crash with a DUI suspect. Officers were called to Airport Road and Union Boulevard just after 10 on reports of a crash involving a utility task vehicle. Following an investigation officers determined a vehicle driven by James Holm left the roadway and struck the city-owned UTV with two employees inside while they were conducting maintenance. Both workers were transported to a hospital, one with serious injuries. CSPD says holm is facing multiple charges including vehicular assault and reckless driving.
