Fort Carson Soldier Accused of Domestic Violence

A FORT CARSON SOLDIER WILL MAKE A COURT APPEARANCE NEXT WEEK AFTER BEING ACCUSED OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, HARRASSMENT AND MENACING. POLICE IN SALIDA WERE CALLED TO A HOTEL ROOM EARLY SUNDAY MORNING BY A WOMAN WHO SAID THE MAN, IDENTIFIED AS KYLE DAVILA THREATENED HER WITH A GUN AND PUSHED HER SEVERAL TIMES. THE TWO KNEW EACH OTHER. SALIDA POLICE DID FIND A WEAPON AT THE SCENE, AND THE WOMAN PRODUCED A BULLET FROM THE WEAPON AFTER THE SOLDIER ALLEGEDLY POINTED THE GUN AT HER AND THEN PUT IT DOWN. DAVILA WAS ARRESTED. HE IS ON ACTIVE DUTY. DAVILA WILL BE IN COURT FEBRUARY 21ST.
