THE MAN ACCUSED OF SHOOTING AND KILLING HIS ROOMMATE AND ONE OTHER PERSON IN A UCCS DORM ROOM, NICHOLAS JORADAN, WAS IN COURT YESTERDAY. HIS ATTORNEY IS SAYING HE IS INCOMPETENT TO STAND TRIAL. DUE TO THIS CLAIM, THE NEXT HEARING FOR JORDAN HAS BEEN DELAYED UNTIL A MENTAL HEALTH EXPERT FROM THE STATE HOSPITAL IN PUEBLO CAN EVALUATE HIM AND MAKE A FINAL DETERMINATION IF HE IS COMPETENT OR NOT. JORDAN WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STAND TRIAL UNTIL HE IS DEEMED MENTALLY COMPETENT.
