Richard Randall 2024 Voting Guide

024 VOTER GUIDE!!!!!

A little background. I’ve actually never done this for other elections. In the past I’ve always taken the suggestions of Jeff Crank. He’s kind of busy these days and I’m not even sure if it would be appropriate for him to weigh in on this election.

First, I was a trial attorney in Chicago for 7 1/2 years but I’ve never been a practicing attorney in Colorado. When I was an anchor/reporter at KKTV I was often used as a legal expert covering trials. I’ve NEVER been in front of ANY of these judges. I don’t know any of them personally. There are other performance reviews and recommendations but here’s what I did… I talked with half a dozen attorneys that I respect… half prosecutors/plaintiff attorneys and the other half defense attorneys. Criminal & civil. I simply gave them the names for retention and asked Yes or No. No single attorney had been before all of the judges but these are attorneys for which I have VERY HIGH RESPECT.

CORADO SPRINGS BALLOT ISSUES

Colorado Springs Ballot Issue 2C

– there are very good arguments for both

I’ll explain in a separate post.

Colorado Springs Ballot Issue 2D – YES

Colorado Springs Ballot Question 300 – NO

AGAIN: This is a compilation of opinions from interviews and communications with people I trust. As for 2C… This past week Douglas Bruce was on the show and made a VERY persuasive case for voting no. You can listen to him on the podcast. Mayor Mobolade made his case for a YES briefly when he was on my show concerning The Veterans Day Parade. He also had a Gazette piece in favor.

I HATE that basic needs for the city need special funding that chips away at TABOR. I’ll most likely vote yes but with great reluctance. Because of that reluctance I can’t tell you to vote yes.
