UPDATE: 18-year-old Jessie Alcon, the woman caught on video vandalizing a car with a machete at City Park in Pueblo, was arrested and taken into custody. Pueblo Police are still looking for the suspect who fired at least five shots.
PUEBLO, CO – Police are investigating after gunfire broke out near a Pueblo skate park Monday evening.
A woman, armed with a machete, along with three other people damaged an unoccupied vehicle.
A large crowd gathered around, and one person pulled out a BB gun, then another person pulled a handgun and fired five to seven shots. No one was hurt.
The woman with the machete fled, but was later arrested. The person who fired the shots is believed to be a male but has not been identified.
Police say it’s unclear whether the incident was gang related.
