Federal aviation officials investigate single-engine plane crash in Black Forest

BLACK FOREST, CO – Two men were able to walk away from the crash of a small plane in Black Forest Wednesday afternoon.  The pilot, 35-year-old Matthew Tanner, was reportedly practicing stall maneuvers when the aircraft went down near Shoup Road  and Glenridge Lane.  Niether Tanner, nor his passenger, 18-year-old Isaac Brumm,were seriously hurt. The plane suffered heavy damage. Federal aviation officials will investigate the cause of the accident.
