The Hanover Fire Department delivered water to Midway area residents after Friday’s flooding damaged distribution lines.
While service has been mostly restored, a boil order remains in effect. Several tests still have to be performed to make sure the water is safe.
The storm also washed out roads, stranding several people in their vehicles. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
The boil order is for all water that is going to be consumed, cooked, or bathed in and affects roughly 400 homes in the Midway area.
