Chris Watts, the Fredrick man charged in the deaths of his family, was in court Tuesday morning.
Watts has been formally charged with 9 felonies including 3 counts of first degree murder, 1 count of unlawful termination of a pregnancy, and 3 counts of tampering with a deceased human body.
Watts claims that he killed his pregnant wife because she had fatally strangled their two young daughters.
