NORTH CAROLINA – A Colorado Springs teen who lost his arm in a shark attack is now out of the hospital.
16-year-old Hunter Treschl was attacked Sunday in waist-deep water at a North Carolina beach.
About 90 minutes earlier, 12-year-old Kiersten Yow of Asheboro, was playing in the water when she was attacked by a shark and also lost an arm.
A GoFundMe page has been set up for Hunter’s medical bills, and for a prosthetic limb.
